The Cheesecake Factory buffalo blasts are one of the more popular appetizers and I completely understand why! This copycat recipe is so easy to make and so delicious. They’re crunchy, cheesy, and a little spicy. One of my favorite recipes!
INGREDIENTS 2 1/2 cups shredded chicken breast (can use a rotisserie chicken)
1/2 cup Frank’s red hot sauce
1/4 cup ranch
1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup green onions
2 cups flour
1/4 cup corn starch
Season the shredded chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
To a large bowl, add in the chicken, hot sauce, ranch, cheese, and green onions and mix.
To a shallow bowl add the two eggs and whisk them.
To another shallow bowl add the flour and corn starch. Season with salt and pepper.
Add a small amount of the chicken filling to the center of a wonton wrapper.
Brush water along all of the edges and then fold into a triangle.
Dip the filled wonton into the eggs, let the excess drip off, and then into the flour.
Repeat with the rest of the filling and fry the dredged wontons until golden brown.
Serve hot with a side of ranch and more Buffalo sauce for dipping!
